What's New Media?

We are now living in the 21st Century and there is no doubt about how new media is growing and rapidly moving away from old media. What kind of technologies do we refer to as "new media"? There are many things we can call "new media," such as Twitter, Instagram, FaceTime and video communication (like online lectures), blogs, Facebook, and Snapchat. These new media have changed our lives.

Wiki So Far

I did edition and added graphics to the exist page “New Media’s Presence in The Healthcare Industry”. And I created a page called “ New Media” and I talk about some subtopics related to our class new media and expanded it. I worked on layout edition, page editor ( I make sure the page/part I work are organized), added some graphics as well. I added more than 5 paragraphs and added references to my all work, uploaded images and many more other things.

When it come to new type of new “new media,” we already have some many types of new media. However, I think we need the new media to help find missing people. For example, people can upload the mission person pic on that app and the public whoever using the app will get information in a sec and can help find the missing person. I think this is very important, because many of us don't know the missing person news until we see the news or read newspaper or read the advertisement.  If new media have a app for those “missing people,” I think that will be very helpful to everyone.

New media--such as social media, web and mobile technologies--are rapidly increasing usage in many modern industries.   All type of media is designed by humans, so there is no way you can expect social media to keep all your information safe and confidential. Most of us will never bother to read fine texts or terms and conditions but rush to sign up for any type of social media.   Let's take Facebook, for example; if you create an account on Facebook, and you are the only one person who will have access to it because you created it and that is your account. But Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg, who will have full access to all the Facebook user information because he is a founder of the software.   He can track anyone he likes because the user “agreed to the terms and policy” of Facebook. Users give permission to Facebook without realizing it.
