Creativity

New media has become a very important part of our daily life. New media may effect the quality of life, as users of different new media (social media) have increased over time. Creativity is the ability to create useful/new ideas and innovation to reach out to the whole world by using new media network platforms and social media. Creativity in society is increased by adding new sources of information to people, to create, share and publish content. New media fosters creativity in thought through Blogging, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, using digital tools, interacting anonymously online, etc.

Bloggers can able to develop their idea of creative thinking and writing. When you blog, you create thoughts that can reach out to people around the whole world.

Technology has also made digital tools much easier to use, as well as more engaging. How? There are tools that people can use—for example, like free storage and graphic design tools—to help brainstorm with other more easily.

People can open free accounts online and communicate with anyone. For example, with Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, people can be creative and thoughtful without any fears about limiting their creative minds. According to a New York Times article, “Twitter Serves Up Ideas From Its Followers” by Claire Cain Miller, users on Twitter had difficulty understanding how to address to each other, but now they use the “@“ symbol to refer to each others.

Before, people can be creative and imaginative but they did not have the right media for sharing. But now new media helps a lot for those who are creative to share their ideas and work.

When it come to new type of new “new media,” we already have some many types of new media. However, I think we need the new media to help find missing people. For example, people can upload the mission person pic on that app and the public whoever using the app will get information in a sec and can help find the missing person. I think this is very important, because many of us don't know the missing person news until we see the news or read newspaper or read the advertisement.  If new media have a app for those “missing people,” I think that will be very helpful to everyone.

Creativity and New Media

https://myatthuzzar7.wixsite.com/unixshoes The above link is a website of my “UniX Soles” line. This website was created for one of my projects. The products on this site are from my imagination. The concept of the product is basically this: a shoe’s sole can charge electronic devices without using a power source except for what is generated in the shoe. The sole charges and gets its power from the motion of walking, hiking, running and basic movement. Also, it includes a small GPS tracking device to track people who are prone to getting lost. The benefits of using the product are (1) it can charge electronic devices and (2) send location signals for when someone is in distress.  Below is a model of my concept!

New media--such as social media, web and mobile technologies--are rapidly increasing usage in many modern industries.   All type of media is designed by humans, so there is no way you can expect social media to keep all your information safe and confidential. Most of us will never bother to read fine texts or terms and conditions but rush to sign up for any type of social media.   Let's take Facebook, for example; if you create an account on Facebook, and you are the only one person who will have access to it because you created it and that is your account. But Facebook was created by Mark Zuckerberg, who will have full access to all the Facebook user information because he is a founder of the software.   He can track anyone he likes because the user “agreed to the terms and policy” of Facebook. Users give permission to Facebook without realizing it.
